– We're displaying potential snow in cm rather than it's liquid equivalent in mm when using OpenWeather ❄️
– We're now showing 8 hours and 8 days (instead of 7) in the medium widgets (innovation!) 📱
Here's a more detailed list of what's new 👇
– Watch complications are updating much more reliably right after unlocking the watch in the morning ⏰
– Minute-by-minute rain is now ticking along consistently in the app, widgets and complications 🌧️
We've added a useful date label that shows the date of the selected day in the forecast day overview! 📅
We also fixed an issue with customizable widgets on older iOS 16 versions (if you haven't already, you should check out the custom widgets, and they look stunning!) and fixed a few minor localization issues. 🌎
When you're at an airport, we show the airport name instead of the name of the tiny town the airport is part of (no more confusion about landing in "Hounslow"!) ✈️
We've added a data source picker. So if you have very specific weather data requirements and don't want the data source to switch dynamically, you can now lock it to always use either Apple Weather or OpenWeather.
In case you missed it, last week, we released our 1.8 update, with lots of neat improvements! Here are some of the highlights.
⌚️The watch app now shows more details about the current weather conditions, such as humidity, dew point, wind, and UV index. We also improved the responsiveness of the watch app significantly, especially when running on older devices. 👇
A beautifully designed weather app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and (soon) macOS, that makes checking the weather a treat.
